We presented a cheque to the value of £4,337 to to Charlotte Thomas of Tŷ Hafan from our ICCM Recycling Metals Scheme.
Tŷ Hafan is one of the UK’s leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care to children and support for their families, throughout Wales.
Charlotte wrote to Cardiff and Glamorgan Memorial Park and Crematorium following the presentation saying:
“Thank you so much for coming along to see the Hospice today, I hope you enjoyed the tour and it gave you an insight into the services Tŷ Hafan provides.
Also thank you to you and your colleagues for choosing to donate to Tŷ Hafan , you’ve raised such an incredible amount that I can assure you will mean the world to the families and now you’ve seen first hand how it can help.
I’ve spoken to my colleague Diane about volunteering opportunities and she is going to send me over some information about becoming a Tŷ Hafan Ambassador. I will forward this onto you and you can see if this is something you’d be interested in.
